Java Day Café is an absolute gem! The coffee is top notch rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection. Whether you’re grabbing a classic drip coffee or a specialty latte, you can taste the quality in every sip. The bagels are just as impressive fresh, chewy, and with the perfect balance of crispness on the outside. Pair one with their delicious cream cheese or breakfast sandwiches, and you’ve got the perfect start to your day. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a pleasant experience. You know the best gauge to use to see if a coffee bagel shop will be great and successful is to always order a breakfast sandwich. If they can’t get something as simple as a breakfast sandwich to taste delicious, it won’t be worth trying anything else. Proud enough to say, this place killed it with the breakfast bagel sandwich I got! Pictured is the everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese. Quality of the bagel? Best I’ve had in years. The balance of textural experience has never been more on point. Combined with the perfectly cooked and tasty sausage and egg truly hit the spot for me. Definitely will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. I also applaud the homey and friendly atmosphere that this place provides while eating. I give this place 5.5 stars whether Google likes it or not haha.

Java Day cafe is such a gem in Teaneck! Their bagels are super soft and chewy and full of flavor. Our go-to breakfast sandwich is the turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on a jalapeno cheddar bagel - scooped with pepper and ketchup, and always toasted. It never fails us! The owner gave us a rainbow bagel with blueberry cream cheese to try as a dessert, and that was also perfection! The blueberry cream cheese has real blueberries mixed in and it’s the perfect consistency with just-right amount of sweetness. Also don’t forget to pair your bagels with their french vanilla iced coffee, we like our coffee black and their black french vanilla coffee gives that perfect first sip feeling. The staff is also very friendly and we’re so glad we finally got to meet the owner of this gem! Most definitely recommend to anyone in the area, you won’t be disappointed :)

Tried this spot for breakfast and really enjoyed the food! The bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll was delicious—simple but done right. Also had the turkey, egg, and cheese, tater tots, and a waffle, all of which were tasty and satisfying. The drinks were just okay though—the dirty chai and orange juice didn’t really stand out. Still, the food makes it worth coming back!

Java Day Cafe is a must-try! The bagels are soft with the perfect chew. Never tough or dry. The cream cheese is flavorful but not too heavy, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice is so refreshing. Their iced coffee is delicious too. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!
